Thanks everyone for coming along to our contractor update event held in the Penthouse, at NZ House in London. The views were amazing, the weather was great, the pizza was tasty, the refreshments were……well refreshing, and the speakers were captivating!
The evening started at 6pm when our first clients started to arrive, and the last left around 9pm. In between times our clients were able to enjoy a glass of Prosecco while taking in the views of London from this fabulous location. In hot demand were also the bowl of jet planes and mini-chocolate fish - confectionery for the uninitiated.
The supply of tasty pizza from Hells Pizza, and cold NZ wine and beer all proved popular while our clients, chatted, mingled, and got to meet the team here at No Worries.
The main presentations started at 7:15pm and included;
Greg Hanton from No Worries who provided a colourful description of the very modest beginnings of No Worries, the latest tax news affecting contractors, and where the UK market is headed.
Lesley Blake from HSBC then gave us a very useful overview of HSBC banking, along with how her and the HSBC team can specifically help our contractor clients.
Henry Irwin from Fortress Wealth Partnership finished up giving a us a great summary of how he can help contractors make the make of their well earned money through solid investment advice.
Once the presentations were finished we spent the final hour meeting more clients, answering their questions, and ‘putting a face to the name’. Although I could be labelled as biased, it was one of the best events I have ever been to
